Parent Resources

Smart Tuition

St. Christina uses Smart Tuition to manage all tuition payments for enrolled students. Smart Tuition provides great value to both schools and parents. Smart Tuition significantly reduces the administrative work involved in collecting tuition. This reduction in workload frees up busy staff to address other priorities and allows school leaders to focus on educating children.

If you need to set up a new account please visit the Smart Tuition website to create an account and link your banking information.

Power School

St. Christina uses PowerSchool education technology platform for the grading of all K-8 classes. PowerSchool serves more than 32 million students, 66 million parents, and 100 million users in over 70 countries around the world.

PowerSchool keeps parents informed and engaged with anytime, anywhere access to 360-degree views of their student’s performance.

PowerSchool helps parents with a suite of tools to monitor student progress and communicate with teachers. Real-time notifications alert parents to new grades and attendance as well as important class announcements and reminders. Interactive calendars provide a big-picture view of student workloads, meaning parents can help students stay on track and manage their time. Parents can easily access important documents like IEPs, and private communication channels enable one-on-one correspondence with teachers to discuss student progress and growth.

PowerSchool empowers teachers and drives student growth through innovative digital classroom capabilities, and we engage families through real-time communications across any device.

Extended Care

The St. Christina Extended Care Program provides early morning drop offs and after school care for current students. The program is viewed as a natural  extension of  the school’s daily program. The program does not operate when the school is not in session or on days when there is an early dismissal.

Manna & Scrip Programs

Manna and Scrip

The Manna and Scrip programs are a way to earn tuition credit. Manna is a program in which gift cards can be ordered and purchased at St. Christina. Orders can be placed weekly or purchased on a cash and carry basis at the Rectory.

SCRIP is the online version of Manna and an additional way for you to earn credit towards tuition and school fees while making everyday purchases at participating retailers. Families must register an account and link an active bank account to participate. Both electronic, reload and physical cards are available through Scrip.

Through both programs St. Christina will receive a small percentage of the purchase and a portion will be returned to you as a tuition credit. Tuition credits are posted to accounts in January and August. Parishioners who do not have students that attend St. Christina but do attend a Catholic high school may also qualify for the tuition credit. Checks in the credit amount are distributed in August made out to the high school of choice.
